Carolina Treetop Challenge
Welcome to the Carolina Treetop Challenge, where you get to face your fear of heights in the most creative ways possible! Think of it as a DIY military-style obstacle course—if the military decided to ditch the bootcamp for some rope bridges and tree hugs. Set in the picturesque woods near the western edge of the Uwharrie National Forest, we’ve slapped a bunch of wobbly platforms and sketchy swings between trees, and voilà! An “adventure course.”
Our address is 114 Rock Creek Park Drive, Albemarle, NC 28001—perfectly positioned so you can question your life choices as you dangle above the forest floor. No worries though, you’ll be securely clipped into a bright red safety cable as you traverse obstacles like the “Oops-I-Slipped” Tarzan swings, “Please-Don’t-Break” suspended bridges, cargo net climbs that double as full-body massages, and our signature swinging posts (pro-tip: they will swing). And remember, this is all self-guided, so if you get stuck, you’ll be your own best friend up there!
